The Manotick Kiwanis Regular Dinner Meeting will be held at the Manotick Legion Hall. As usual, 6 pm for socializing and 6:30 pm for dinner. The meal will be Swedish meatballs and rice. Our guest speaker will be Bill Carroll from CFRA Morning show, and his topic will be The future of media: What happens to democracy when it’s gone.

Next Board meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 17th at 7 pm at Hyfield Place in Manotick. All members are welcome to attend.
October 1, 2024 – AKtion Club Meeting
Our club’s turn to host the AKtion Club Meeting. Come out and help serve, cleanup and experience the fellowship with the AKtion club members. Contact Elaine Emond for more information and to volunteer.
October 8, 2024 – Regular Dinner Meeting
The Manotick Kiwanis Regular Dinner Meeting will be held at the Manotick Legion Hall. As usual, 6 pm for socializing and 6:30 pm for dinner. The meal and our guest speaker are TBA.
November 2, 2024 – 64th Charter Night – Dinner and Dance
The 64th anniversary celebration of the Kiwanis Club of Manotick is being held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann St., Manotick on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. The evening commences with socializing from 6:00 p.m. and the meal at 6:30 p.m. The entertainment will be supplied by the band “The Retorsions”. The cost of tickets will be $ 75.00 per person and the dress code is semi formal.
There will be 2 choices for dinner: Beef Wellington or Stuffed chicken with spinach. There will be 50/50 tickets available for purchase during the evening and there will also be door prices.
Please contact Simone Bachelor at [email protected] or at 613-822-9831 to obtain information and to make reservations. You may pick-up and pay for your tickets in advance at the September 10th and October 8th club meetings. You can pay with cheque, cash, credit card, or by Interact.

November 12, 2024 – Christmas Cake Sales Begin
Our annual sale of Christmas fruit cakes, cookies and chocolate truffles takes place from mid-November to mid-December at retirement homes and other venues as well through personal sales. Contact Ralph Tweedie for more information and to volunteer.
November 23, 2024 – Christmas Tree Lot Opens
Our annual sale of Christmas trees begins and runs until we sell out. Members are encouraged to sign up for one or more shifts at the tree lot located beside the Home Hardware at the Manotick Mews SC. Contact Bob Simpson or Colin Crosby for more information and to volunteer.
March 2025 – Dickinson Days Committee Meeting
The first 2025 committee meeting well be held in Millers Oven sometime in March 2025.
May 29-31, 2025 – KI EC&C District Convention
The 2025 KI EC&C District Convention will take place in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
