Kiwanis Christmas Trees for Sale– start November 23rd
Our annual sale of Christmas trees, which includes Fraser firs, Balsam firs and Scotch pine, are sold beginning on the morning of Saturday, November 23, 2024, at our tree lot next to the Home Hardware in the Manotick Mews S.C. and runs until we sell out. Members are encouraged to sign up for one or more shifts at the tree lot. Contact Bob Simpson or Colin Crosby or [email protected] for more information and to volunteer.
Kiwanis Christmas Parade of Lights – November 29th
The Kiwanis Christmas Parade of Lights will take place on Friday, November 29th at 7 pm. Parade route through Manotick will be Beaverwood Road to Maple Avenue, then down Manotick Main Street to Eastman Avenue and Potter Drive.
St. James Anglican Church, ManotickChristmas Market – November 30, 2024
Come Sample the Delights of Christmas on Saturday November 30th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Traditional Homemade Christmas Puddings; Delicious Home Baked Treats and Sweets; Cookies by the Dozen, You Choose: Jams, Jellies and Pickles.
Christmas Gift Table Laden with Great Gift Ideas: Tourtiere with Salad Greens or Homemade Ginger Squash Soup with Bun for Lunch and Complimentary Dessert.
Children can do their OWN shopping in “Tiny Town” Christmas Boutique (Children Only).
With Santa’s Elves ready to help. All gifts are wrapped and tagged, Ready for under the Christmas Tree. Credit/Debit/Cash Accepted.
Kiwanis Club of Manotick Christmas Dinner Meeting – December 10th
The Manotick Kiwanis Christmas Dinner Meeting will be held on December 10th at that the Manotick Legion Hall. As usual, 6 pm for socializing and 6:30 pm for dinner. The meal will be a Turkey dinner with all the fixings and our speaker will be a favourite of the club’s… Norman Bowley. Norm ‘s topic will be “Christmas Dinner with a Side of Crow”.
