July 27- Sep 28 – Kiwanis-Staples School Supply Drive
The Kiwanis Club of Manotick is fortunate to have partnerships with the Staples stores in Barrhaven and Kemptville. In Barrhaven, our Kiwanis Club is going to add money to the amount collected at the store to purchase Chromebooks for students in need at local high schools. In Kemptville, our club will also add to the amount collected there to purchase packages of schools supplies for students in need in that community. September 9, 2025 – Monthly Club Dinner Meeting
Monthly Club Dinner Meeting will be at the Manotick Legion, Meet and Greet at 6 p.m. and Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be Roast Beef with gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies, salad and dessert at your discretion. Bruce and Debbie Tomkins will speak about their experience at the EC&C District Convention.
September 13, 2025 – Taste of Manotick
The annual Taste of Manotick will take place on Manotick Main Street in Manotick on September 13th from 2 to 6 p.m. Please contact Gary Coulombe at [email protected] to volunteer your services at the street barriers and the Kiwanis Popcorn Booth.
October 14, 2025 – Monthly Club Dinner Meeting
Monthly Club Dinner Meeting will be at the Manotick Legion, Meet and Greet at 6 p.m. and Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be German sausages, beef roulade, wiener schnitzel, German hot potato salad, red cabbage salad, salad and Apple strudel dessert at your discretion.
November 15, 2025 – Kiwanis Club of Manotick Charter Night
The Charter Night Dinner will be at the Manotick Legion on November 15th with the cost remaining at $75 pp. A reminder if you plan to join us for the 65th Charter Night on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 to let Judy Prevost know ASAP.
December 9, 2025 – Club Christmas Dinner Meeting
Club Christmas Dinner Meeting will be at the Manotick Legion, Meet and Greet at 6 p.m. and Dinner at 6:30 p.m. Dinner will be Turkey with cranberry sauce and gravy, sweet potatoes & mashed turnip, and salad & dessert at your discretion. Our speaker will be Allen O’Donnell, Community Police Officer-South District and he will talk to us about the Impact of Christie Lake Camp on him personally and professionally.

The 2026 KI EC&C District Convention will take place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada – April 30 – May 3, 2026. More information will be available in the Fall of 2025.
June 5, 6, and 7, 2026 – Dickinson Days 2025 Festival
The Dickinson Days 2026 Festival will be held in the Village of Manotick downtown area from June 5 to 7, 2026. Dickinson days is our Manotick Kiwanis club’s biggest event each spring. It is a weekend festival with a parade, fireworks, entertainment, live music performances, wagon rides, pancake breakfast, BBQ, meals, craft booths, farmers market, activities for kids, rock bands, tours at Watson’s Mill & Dickinson House, Doors Open Ottawa. So many volunteers are needed to ensure its success.
