The 64th anniversary celebration of the Kiwanis Club of Manotick is being held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 314, 5550 Ann St., Manotick on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. The evening commences with socializing from 6:00 p.m. and the meal at 6:30 p.m. The entertainment will be supplied by the band “The Retorsions”.  The cost of tickets will be $ 75.00 per person and the dress code is semi formal.

There will be 2 choices for dinner: Beef Wellington or Stuffed chicken with spinach. Please let us know if you have any diet restrictions. There will be 50/50 tickets available for purchase during the evening and there will also be door prices.

Come and enjoy a wonderful meal, have fun, socialize with your fellow Kiwanians, and dance of course.  We would love to see you! Please book soon so we can let our caterers know how many meals to prepare.

The Senior Bingo at Hyfield Apartments is held the second Monday of each month from September to June at 6:45 PM. Contact Greg Newton if you can volunteer.

The Manotick Kiwanis Regular Dinner Meeting for November 12th has been cancelled. It will instead be combined with the November 2nd Charter Night Dinner.

Our annual sale of Christmas fruit cakes, cookies and chocolate truffles takes place from mid-November to mid-December at retirement homes and other venues as well through personal sales. Contact Ralph Tweedie for more information and to volunteer.

The Senior Bingo at Carleton Lodge is held the second Wednesday of each month from September to June at 6:45 PM. Contact Debbie Mulvihill if you can volunteer.

Our annual sale of Christmas trees begins and runs until we sell out. Members are encouraged to sign up for one or more shifts at the tree lot located beside the Home Hardware at the Manotick Mews SC. Contact Bob Simpson or Colin Crosby for more information and to volunteer.
